This time it’s for real.
Arsenal have confirm the arrival of Denis Suárez on loan from Barcelona until the end of the season.
Barça did announce that the deal to take the 25-year-old to the Emirates had been completed on Wednesday evening before the article mysteriously disappeared from the LaLiga giants’ website.
But Suárez appeared to confirm that the deal was still going ahead when he posted a farewell message to his Blaugrana team-mates via his official Instagram account on Thursday morning.
And now he is officially a Gunners player.
“We are very happy that Denis Suarez is joining us,” manager Unai Emery told the club’s official website.
“He is a player we know well and I have worked with him at Sevilla. He brings us quality and options in many different attacking positions, so he’ll be able to help the team.”
Arsenal will reportedly have the option to sign the Spain international permanently for €20m in the summer.
